Early edition..... yeah, because we feel like taking Labor Day off :-)
Way to turn up the heat Columbus Crew. After beating the LA Galaxy 4-1, the Crew came out firing again and decking the Dynamos with three goals to none. All three scored by three different players.
Yes, we are as surprised as you are. The Columbus Crew come out with guns a blazin' and deck the defenses of the Los Angeles Galaxy to the tune of 4-1 in front of team owner Anthony Preacourt, newly minted team president Andy Loughnane and a sellout crowd of 20,790.
We break down the win and the performance of the team.
We take a look at the tasks that will face new team business president Loughnane as he takes the reigns of the team.
Matt Bernhardt joins us to talk about the win and this year's Crew attendance, but not till after Greg Benson doles out his weekly stack of cards. You don't want to miss this edition.
Finally, we talk Houston and do some score predictions.
Not the kind of history anyone had hoped to see Saturday night. The Crew, for the first time ever, have been swept by Toronto FC and have fallen below them on the table. We discuss what took place on Saturday, what didn't take place during the MLS transfer window and other odds and ends.
A new edition of Cards Against Insanity kicks off the 3rd segment along rants from the one and only, friend of the show, Tony Galiffo.
Finally we take a look at the Galaxy game.
Yes, we took a week off. Yes, our producer is back from his family vacation and so are we. Lots to talk about and best of all, the Crew have been undefeated in the last 3 games.
