Ep. 104

The Crew go to the west coast and come back with a point. Giancarlo Gonzalez and Chris Wondolowski  get into a kerfuffle. What's going to happen over the summer in terms of friendlies, concerts and possible signing. All that and we still look at the rest of the league and preview the upcoming game against D.C. United.

It finally happened, and it happened against the worst team possible. The Crew's loss to Toronto is not the end of the world though. The podcast staff breaks down the break downs in the Crew's performance in the loss and where they can go from there. Plus coverage of the rest of the league, USWNT and a preview of the game at San Jose.

What a week it has been!!! The Crew go to Seattle and tame the plastics (fans/team/field) with a 94th minute Justin Meram Dagger. The podcast staff discusses what went down in the game with the one and only Ashleigh Ignelzi of the Columbus Crew. We also talk to Chris Edwards live (well.... live to us) from China. Finally, we  look forward to the upcoming Trillium Cup matchup with Toronto FC. It's all fun and games until Frankie Hejduk shows up for the podcast.... then it's a lot more fun, and energy, and passion, and bleeding of black and gold. The Crew beat Philadelphia in a tough contest. Mark McCullers and the Crew decide to part ways after 15 years. Finally, the team heads west to take on Sigi Schmidt and the Seattle Sounders.

What better way to celebrate Crewsmas week than by having our 100th episode fall around the same time. We thank all of you who have listened to us for the last 3 years and we hope to bring you more and better Crew content as we grow along. Be Massive. Go Crew.

It's been a busy week. The Crew open 2014 with a resounding win at DC United. The Crew sign a TV deal with Time Warner Sports Channel and cause a huge backlash. Fans are excited about the season yet incredibly angry at the TV deal, so we brought on Crew President Mark McCullers to clarify and explain some of the information that has been put out in various outlets.

Some preseason games have been played, yet it seems that we have not been able to see any of them in real life. So, we will take their words for it. The podcast staff talks preseason, new signings, leaked 2014 kit, who stays, gets cut or gets sent to Dayton, and much much more.

HELLOOOOOOOOOOO CREW FANS!!!! Happy to be back. Full podcast on hand this week as the podcast staff catches up with all the events that took place while we were off. Players came, players went, some got resigned and some were hung out to dry. Coaches were hired and the faithful were..... were...well, not sure how to react. This week were were joined by Duane Rollins of The Canadian Soccer Network and "It's Called Football" podcast to talk about Toronto FC's MAJOR signings and the bizarre offseason taking place in Vancouver. We were also joined by our Australian correspondent (live from China) Chris Edwards to talk about all the off season changes.
